| good game but how is your score tallied? i thought it was time but that has no bearing on your score |

| My thoughts were that it was based on how far you got, plus how quickly you did it. |

I'm not sure either, but heres my thoughts maybe something you dident think of.
Time + How many times you shift + How many times you die + How many moves it takes you to finish + Maybe it has something to do with the spikes and the trapped floor on the end level...
I havent found anything signifigant yet though.  |

| you die at the end no matter what, if you shift it wont let you go past the area that disappears. i can do the game in the fastest time without dying and minimal shifts but nothing works |

Yes i remember playing this 2 day's ago ( only once ) and scored around 15,000 but i do remember that the highscore is 100,000+.
Yes it would be a matter of just doing all the above explained ways,i did wonder how it was scored.
It was quite a well thought out game to play tho altho could have maybe been a little more complex toward's the end??
Will check back to see if anyone's worked it out,i may even go back for another go.

Was just browsing the arcade and came across SHIFT again and i had a look at the highscore's,the time's seem pretty consistant up till the top 2.
witch is a bit weird because 1st place has a time over well over one hour witch seem's to me maybe if you take longer then you get a bigger score but in saying that second place did it in 5 min's with 40 k. so Um YEa!!
Like i said i may go back some time see if i can work it out.
