i've only bought HP computers since they were cheap and easy to upgrade-alienware and voodoo have cool looking cases but for the money you could buy the parts and build a comparable machine for lots less

my buddies parents bought an emachine desktop-they had to return it twice to get one that was not defective-could have been a freak occurence, but i'll never own an emachines pc

alienware is good for gaming.

but after calculating all the stuff that they put inside its better to buy all the parts and it put it together urself.

alienware is still better than other brands though imo, besides xps
