Looks like someone missed history in school. Documentary records showed that "cartoons" had a role on training GIs back in WW1 and WW2 days. These characters include Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, SNAFU, and Superman. It was also meant for middle and high school students to watch these toons as well. Animated films were used to mobilize patriotic feeling, deflate anger over rationing, build military morale, and finally shape the sometimes rocky transition from a war to peace. So all in all cartoons were meant for adults first in its time. _________________ Great Canada - US Host |

| Just because the article is posted on history.com doesn't mean its legit. There is no data to result in this conclusion what so ever. People who sit home and watch cartoons everyday don't want to go fight in a war, they rather stay at home and watch cartoons. |

Oh I got ya so if their no date then theirs no truth. I myself would rather fight for my country side by side with my comrades with all the cartoon I still watch then sit at home like some conscientious objector. Each his own I guess. _________________ Great Canada - US Host |
