It depends on which you like more; humour directed at a more general audience or a more adult one! It seems The Simpsons is directed towards a more general audience while The Family Guy is directed towards the more mature audiences.

| Both of these shows are very good and the humor is a bit different. Simpsons has been on for over 20 yrs so that definitely says something about the show. Who can forget those big Bartman buttons when the show first came out. Family Guy is more funny though than the Simpsons. I can really appreciate that some of the humor is based on current events but a lot of the jokes you have to be educated or at least somewhat smart to get. Seth McFarlene is a genious...but the Simpsons and South Park paved the way! |
