I joined AB on March 14 this year.

and figured that was fine... normal.... as a site is ever expanding that figure would continue to rise every few days.
So I kept an eye on it, but it's now 10 weeks later, and that STILL shows as the most ever !????
I can only surmise that ArcadeBoss has peaked, and usage is now static or falling - OR maybe - since Eagle_Kiwi arrived other users have been deserting in their thousands !? LOL ?
Any suggestions, anyone ?
[[LATER]] I check Alexa ( http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/arcadeboss.com ) and find there "65% growth in last 3 months", AND it has a traffic graph showing indeed new heights regularly, with the last being a few days ago (late May).
I conclude we are perhaps measuring different things !?) - or, I reckon more likely, the counter quoted above - is BROKE!
(Well, don't blame ME - even if it DID get broke just a few days after I came along  ) |

| The number of members online daily is way up lately. Although it is just the tip of the iceberg regarding the total number of players online. It's growing and I'm working hard so make the site efficient as possible so that the server can handle all the traffic. |

That was my main point - according to statement (quoted) at bottom of "Who Is Online" on home page, members online hasn't peaked again since March 18.
Is that not true then ? |

| Daily members online held steady around 150 for much of last year, and some of this year. The new level in the 200s is new for last few months. So, in that sense it is up. If you look at it with shorter history and finer granularity then member traffic might be down slightly from the all-time peak you mentioned. |

Well, now 13 weeks, and STILL that March peak stands.
I still suspect that either it HAS since been bettered, but is not recording the new high - or - maybe - there was some reason for a HUGE influx of users back on that one day !?
Anyway, I'll continue watching/waiting with interest . . . . back in another few weeks  |

Sounds good, Slayer.
But hey, I must point out that the title of this thread was somewhat tongue-in-cheek.
There's never been any question of AB being past its best by any means. There was just an exceptionally (I guess) high day of 277 back in March, and that "minor peak" took 3 months to surpass.
But hey, now the general level HAS reached that point it seems almost every week sees a new record - currently 332 set 4 days ago.
Anyway, the more the merrier - as long as the system can continue to cope. |
