No you didn't! Yes, we did. Another asteroids inspired game. 
The very first ABG game was Asteroids Boss, but my flash game skills have improved a bit since that little ditty came out, so I thought a Part 2 was well warranted. Plus, to my knowledge, no one has ever done a real tribute to Asteroids Deluxe, with all the blue vector graphics etc. that that entails. Since I owned a real Asteroids Deluxe cabinet for a few years, I've got a good bit of experience with this particular Atari classic, and hopefully I've put my memories and inspiration to good use and that you enjoy the classic arcade gaming when you play.
I've made a few minor tweaks to the game from the original. The new version is easier in some ways, and harder in others, but I think it is also a bit more fun as well, if you can pardon the blasphemy. Our Asteroids Deluxe version allows you to upgrade your photon cannon, earn a cool auto-shield bonus and even extra ships by collecting the stars that tumble out of the big saucers.

| awesome job you did on the game their AB. The only thing I found annoying was getting use to the speed when the ship takes off darn things is fast. Is their any way of putting a down thrust in it to slow it down? If not then thats cool. Never the less great job on this version. |

Hey Lonny, glad you liked and thanks for the feedback.
I remember ICBM had complained that the ship was too slow to get moving in Asteroids Boss and I wanted this version to be highly responsive, so you are right it can get going pretty fast. I'll keep your comment in mind, but one tip is to tap the thrust key instead of holding it down to get more control. |

| Asteroids Deluxe is by far the most entertaining asteroid game on AB and having power ups is a nice touch to the classic. Wow though that ship gets moving around fast!!! |
