I noticed they used the acronym "dSLR." What does this acronym mean?
It also said that the students would provide step-by-step instructions later. Could you post them when they become available? |

I wouldn't worry too much about the legal obstacles to launching a satellite. One has to know how to BUILD a satellite first before one has to worry about the legal obstacles to the launching of it. |

| There's nothing to building a satellite. A coffee can and a lid would suffice if it would be big enough to hold what equipment you wanted up there. |

so today i went over and dumped out my parents can of coffee, then grabbed my flip ultra hd and put it in (cuttting a hole in the lid for the lens) then I took the can up to the top of the tree in my backyard and threw it towards the sky. well now I have a bent up can, a camera in 5 pieces and coffee grounds all over my bedroom floor.
pfft proved ICBM wrong lol |

Thanks you for that insightful experiment into building a satellite! I've always wondered what would happen if someone actually tried to build a satellite using those materials. |
