It looks like Paranormal Activity EASILY beat out Saw VI over the box office weekend despite the fact that it was in its FIFTH week AND it was in over a thousand FEWER locations!
The chart is located here:
http://boxoffice.com/numbers/
What do you think of the results?
What do you think about Paranormal Activity's sudden and surprising landslide victory over the once seemingly invincible Halloween movie series known as Saw? |

Once seeminly invincible until they brought out 6 uneeded movies.
They've took the Saw series too far, and hopefully these results hit home that they need to try something different. _________________

| I think people are bored with saw, it's getting really old. I mean they could being in new writers and come up with brilliant storyline, but they don't. they'd rather grab 100 darts and throw them at a random book of tortures. |

^^^couldn't agree more. Will this stop Saw VII from happening though?
That remains to be seen I'm afraid. _________________

I think six would be a conservative estimate. I've read that there will be a Saw VIII. Yes, an EIGHTH Saw movie. I don't even want to think about how tired audiences will be of the franchise then! |
