It looks like 2012 performed as impressively as its special effects this box office weekend.
2012 grabbed $65 million over the weekend domestically and a whopping $160 million from over a hundred nations overseas!
It was reported that the apocalyptic movie performed particularly well in France, Russia, Germany and China. I`m astonished that such a depressing movie about the destruction of humanity could do so well here and in other countries!

| I have not yet seen it, but I don't see how you can make a movie about that sort of thing. The commercials didn't look like it was more than a half-hour long. But what do I know about movies... |

Wow! I'm actually very surprised that the movie " 2012 " Was actually that popular, I guess so many people want to see what could happen on that day. I probably wont see the movie because i highly doubt anything like that will happen in 2012, i think its just an excuse to make a movie, Lol.
