| hey i was just wondering how the prizes are going to be tallied fors the games of the month challenge because i suspect that there will be many ppl who can obtain perfect scores in both dyno and cursor challenge.. therefore how will the places be determined?? |

| yea i mean it seems 2 make no sense to leave the monthly competition up 2 purely time.. id prefer one that involves skill much more and who could score higher in a game that has no peak |

Oops, excuse me did I say that out loud? 
Anyway, ties will be settled by the number of posts this month.
On a related note, post count will only increment when your credits incremement. In other words, the post length and posts per day filters will now also restrict post count as well as your credits.
This is because I don't want to see a lot of spammy little posts, going to have to type in at least a proper sentence.

LOL, and if we have to delete a post that didn't get counted, it will still lower the post count by one when it's removed. That isn't to be super evil, it's just too much trouble to rework the code to deal with cases that we shouldn't have to be dealing with.

| im with you cimeria.. i also have another question for you AB... will we be able 2 see how many posts have been made by each competitior?? otherwise how will we know who is in the lead and by how many posts, etc? |

Anyway, back on topic, I needed to do something to break the ties, and this seemed to be the best option.
I've been working really hard for months to get a new original game done which is going to hopefully be the next challenge, and it's not going to have the tie issue. I wanted to have it ready for this month, but I just couldn't get it all done.
I'm doing my best to collect new games, write the new original game that's coming out soon, adding the contest, plus all the other things that I've got to deal with. Thank you to those who appreciate the work, and can get into the spirit of this current challenge such-as-it-is.
The challenge standings link is currently displaying the correct rankings and includes the post count for the month. |

plus....AB, you should put the competition again as it was at the beginning:
A single game, more difficult and long and start at the beginning of the month.
