Anyone here play bowls? I mean the one where you roll them towards the small one at the end of a long green pitch.
Not the French throwing version. Although the French version is cool too.
I was thinking of joining my local Bowls club.

Ive played bowls many times at my uncles house, I'm pretty good at it too. You should definitely join, that would be cool and a lot of fun.
We call it lawn bowling.

I have played lawn bowls. (NOT professional) There are 2 kids from Australia who are the world champions, i think they are like 12. I believe it's a fun game. You should join although it's for meeting the community and getting to know the neighbours.

in the US, its more of an italian game...i love playing bocci...every year when i go to maine, they have bocci tournaments on the beach, on the harder sand...iots nice to be out on the beach throwin some bocci balls
