So I played this game the other day, and I beat the computer in 9 moves. I then thought, this takes a lot more skill than beating the computer in 77 moves, which is my "highest" score in this game.
My question is, why isn't this one of the games where the low scores are the high scores?

I thought the same thing, but i searched the forum's and there has been a thread + talk regarding this game.
Wouldnt work as a low score game, as it submit's your move's from losing also.
So if it was set to low all you would do is open your king to lose in 4-5 move's.
No skill in that, i spose they just left it @ high, fun easy chess, + it can also be usful for a practice game to try out move's with the undo button.

| It is pointless to put score in chess, it should be a no-score game. You can win or lose... |

| I never even tried that game seeing as how im not very good at chess. checkers either actually. Im not one for the one vs one board games. |

Dang it, 7 moves! My "high" score of the month is 13, because the weight of my chess genius is crushing that of my gamer foolishness!
