I will never forget my introduction to Horror Movies. I was 10 years old and we had the early version of Cable Television (Remember when there were 5 movie choices that played a hundred times a day?).
Anyway, Terror Train with Jamie Lee was one of the movies on, and I was FORBIDDEN to watch it by my slightly over-protective mother. But a man's gotta do....
I was glued to the screen, hunched close to the television speaker so that I could keep the volume low enough to avoid detection and swift punishment. I will never forget the first time I heard the queen scream! When the train ran over a victim's head, the popping sound it made about made MY head explode! |
