Your feedback will be used in formulating our marketing strategy, so any thoughts you can provide will be appreciated.

Okay, here's the deal. We've come up with a couple of games (Asteroids Boss and Infinity) and we plan on releasing more this year. I'm hoping to market Arcade Boss and get a little bit more publicity by promoting these games and getting them onto some other arcades. Obviously this will be the plan on any future games as well.

The publicity for Arcade Boss will come primarily though the advertisement that appears right at the beginning of the game.

I'm sure you've noticed that many sites include some type of advertisement at the start of the game that appears before (and sometimes even during) the game.

Here are my questions for you:

Have any of these pre-game advertisements ever inspired you to visit the sponsoring site?

If not, why not?

If so, what was it that sparked your interest? Was there something particular about the advertisement or the game that made you take the time to visit the other arcade or game developer site?

Please share anything else you can about what would make you really want to visit the advertised site. When the Arcade Boss original games get spread around the internet, I want to get the maximum return traffic, so let me know any tips about what you think would get more people to take the time to visit us in addition to playing our original games at some other site.

I my self havent seen any pre ad. would like to help out on this but cant commint on what I havent seen.

When I see the same advertisement on more than one good/fun game, I keep the site in mind incase I ever get bored with AB (never!) ...

I love this site, I don't think I'll need to visit any other ones any time soon, but I do look at advertisment when the games are loading if I dont have anything better to look at lol...

Well...I think that it has to be short be cool looking because when the ads take forever they are really annoying and I think that I'll never go to the site but they can't just be bland either. But then again I might just be picky about my before game advertisements

Don't make it like the freeonlinegames.com one. It stinks and you have to sit there for like 20 seconds watching their stupid logo rotate around

Yeah, from the feedback I've heard so far this isn't going to be a big source of traffic, although I guess the main advantage would be some branding and name recognition.

I find that rotating logo annoying too, at first I skipped adding some of their games just because of that. Rolling Eyes

For my new game I've got an Arcade Boss logo that is visible on the screen at the bottom most of the time. It's not distracting, but also at least it will get seen that way.

Ab many sites have advertisements but some go way out of control. I know how you feel i have my own site to. Just keep them limited so you get good trafic ok. Message me If you need help. Very Happy

I think that you should make the logo on the bottom of the games a link to the site so it is easier and more conveinient for players to get to ArcadeBoss.

i love everything about this site! i have clicked on the advertisements that u can make money and win money. i dont like the one about gambling one that u make $300 dollars a month though..... sorry. i rate the advertisments 9/10.
by the way, i have got a good marketing stragey. put a donation button the every page (small but, not to small though lol) and say 15% goes to charity. i think that will work good. Very Happy
