We had an IntellivisionII when I was a kid. I really liked the games, but it sure looks terrible considering how advanced gaming systems are these days.

Wheres the Atari at?? Thats what I want to know lol...I have three of em and they're all different lol...never had an intellivison but the atari plays some of its games lol...nice choice ICBM

alot of the players here are 25 and under. they prob. never seen a atari.

Q: What was Gameline?
A: Gameline was a service offered by Control Video Corporation that admitted the downloading of games to the the 2600 over regular phone lines. The Gameline used a variable 800-2000 baud modem, according to Kevin Horton's no-longer-there Gameline Page. The Gameline Master Module originally sold for $49.95 and there was a one-time membership fee of $15. Charges were about $.10 a game or $1 for up to an hour of play. Contest games were $1 and there was a $.50 charge to enter a score. On your birthday, not only were you given free play for a day, but you also received a Happy Birthday screen, complete with cake, candles and music.
While the service did not last very long, the charred ashes of the service begat what is now AOL.
so the internets isnt as new as people think.  |

Im only 17 years old and I have many atari things lol...I actually was attracted to the atari age and bought more in the past couple of years..games...books...controllers...etc..

| its pretty cool to see the youngsters like atari. i have a 2600 which i keep in a box that i picked almost brand new over at craigslist list a while back. my nephew who stops by every once in a while likes to play it. he wont admit that he's hooked on playing it since hes a PS2 player. but i know the drill.. |

Yah usually im the only young on who even owns an atari but im glad edsta also does lol...my mom had an atari for godsakes haha...the only sucky part is the difficulty that can sometime occur when hooking it up...gotta put a littl spit shine on it and give it a good couple pushes for it to work JUST RIGHT!!!
