Ok, I am fairly new to Arcade Boss.... I have had no time until now to ever post or read and respond to a post.
It stands to reason that I should not really know anyone yet.... here that would send me a message with a sob story asking for money!!!
I get tons of them in my Yahoo and occasionally in MSN.
This site is a GREAT PLACE to play but, I would hope there is some kind of way to report these users who send this stuff and block them... I can't find it...
Anyone have the same problem?... Do you know what to do about it?... Do you have your 6 year olds play on here and want to assume some kind of security for them?
Please let me know...
Please send serious messages or honest posts to me...

I can't do anything about Yahoo or MSN, but if you are getting unwanted Private Messages here at Arcade Boss, all you need to do is forward them to me and I'll take care of it.

I have gotten the ones about how people are dying and leaving behind fortunes that need to be claimed and all they want me to do for a portion of it is give them a bank account to put it in... Now, first thought would tell me to open an empty one and have them put it there... but to do that I need a minimum balance?... Obviously they would need access to get their money out right?...
Here is the deal, they don't care if you have a buck or a million dollars, what ever is there in the account they will take and keep including your minimum... Oh and of course, they would have access to your personal info as well. One way or another, they ask for a lot of info about you and either use it for identity theft... Open bogus accounts in your name, and credit lines, or a host of other options for fraud and assault on your good name...
I guess that would pay for a well needed "Brain transplant" or ticket to America. |
