TREAT THIS LINK WITH CAUTION!:- http://www.arcadeboss.com/game-2009-10-Turbo-Tester.html
Now when I click that link, my system seems to tell my browser to close down immediately!
This happens with IE, FF, Chrome, Safari - so it's not a browser problem as such.
Furthermore I get a Windows message saying DEP has closed the browser.
Here's some Windows help on DEP: | Quote: | Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that can help prevent damage to your computer from viruses and other security threats. Harmful programs can try to attack Windows by attempting to run (also known as execute) code from system memory locations reserved for Windows and other authorized programs. These types of attacks can harm your programs and files.
DEP can help protect your computer by monitoring your programs to make sure that they use system memory safely. If DEP notices a program on your computer using memory incorrectly, it closes the program and notifies you. | Now I COULD turn off my DEP, and no doubt play the game happily, but I don't aim to. "Respectable" programs should be happy to live with DEP .... so .... does anyone else (with Vista!?) have a problem opening it ?
Or hey, does anyone else (suuuuurely!?) routinely operate with their DEP on ? |

| Thanks Eagle_Kiwi, that game and flash are killing the browser for some reason. I'm able to view the page in Chrome, but not FF. I've disabled the game for now. |

Excellent. Thank you, on behalf of all those who had, or were about to, suffer from it.
Actually I DID get into it the first time I tried in Chrome - so thought I might steal a march on "ordinary" folks by getting a good score while I could .... but .... I wasn't logged in there, and when I DID log in, it straightaway started the shutdown thing! |

I'm using Firefox in Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1. I have no idea what Data Execution Prevention is or even how to turn it on if I have it!
I can run the game just fine (like any other game) but when I try to submit a score; it says I'm not registered? |

| I've updated code so that disabled activities are not displayed. (Before there were just removed from lists and search.) |
