That sort of thing puzzles me a bit too - but I guess noone would play here purely for the money. Say $10 for maybe 100 or more hours work doesn't seem great economics.
I guess we're all(?) here mainly for the competition. And after all, what's 10 bucks these days anyway ? I reckon if I didn't qualify for the cash I'd probably still compete here - even just knowing there ARE cash prizes seems to me to legitimise the whole competition somehow.
Seems I might need to wait anOTHER month to finish above Gary - here he comes!

I play more then 50 games a day, so it's not so hard to get in the BOTM list.
I just play for fun (and breaking highscores).
Most of the time when i play i am at work, so i get paid to play. |

Where are you on this list? Does this mean that both you and aussie557 neither increased nor decreased his monthly wins?

Hi Gary. This list shows only the "big movers" each day, and usually I find any movement up or down by three or more picks out the main ones.
So those whose totals stayed the same or only moved by 1 or 2 don't show.
Wickuzo, Aussie, and I were all level on 35 a couple of days ago, but then W shot up by 3, leaving the other 2 of us to keep jockeying around by odd ones or twos. |
