I think AI should've already been dead for several years now, or at least since Sanjaya demonstrated what kind of foolish show it is. I think it's telling that FOX couldn't find anyone qualified within the music industry willing to take the job (I have never heard of Ellen having any musical qualifications) and so instead they had to hire a fangirl to replace Paula.
On the bright side (I think), no more random drunken ramblings. |

| I am a fan of American Idol and I watch it every year. And as much as a lot of people would like the show to get cancelled, there is a huge fan base. There is no chance the show will get cancelled any time soon as it is the most popular weekly show in American. A 30 second commercial for American Idol costs $750,000. With those numbers it does not matter how bad the show is getting Fox will keep it running. As for the new judge I think its a bad choice. |

It's probably a bit early to judge Ellen Degeneres now because the ninth season with her as judge hasn't even started yet!  |
