For anyone that would like to record their gameplay, the link below is for a FREE download of Hypercam.

For anyone unsure of how it works, this brief explanation should help....
When you open the hypercam programme, you are given given a few options at the top of the screen (Hot Keys,AVI File etc)
First is the screen size - i use = width - 1280, Height - 960.
you can adjust these to suit the size you require.
Next is Hot Keys - when you 'hide' the hypercam screen you can use the following keys to control your recording.
start/stop f2
pause/resume f3
single frame shot(when paused) f4
When not in hide mode the recording controls are at the bottom of the hypercam screen and can be operated by your mouse.
Next is AVI File.
Here you can select the folder you want your videos to save in - documents/downloads etc
Also you can add suquential numbers to your recordings - eg= clip0118.
Next is the sound options.
You can choose whether or not you want to record sound on you video.
And finally - Other Options.
This gives you the option to record mouse cursor movement and mouse click sound in the videos you make.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are going to upload your video on YouTube then make sure it is LESS than 10 minutes long as that is the maximum length they allow.

Well that is interesting because if they have a limit for a reason, presumably to reduce stress on servers, why on earth have YouTube given this video a featured prominent wide screen?

Or, you can try Camtasia, which is the #1 quality computer recording program, just make sure when you finish recording, you save it as an AVI file.

Hi all i am thinking i want to make a few video's of my gameplay and put on you tube for fellow gamer's at AB to view.
I have a few question's,maybe someone with experience will share plz
Im a complete novice at doing this so i have no idea how to get started,but i presume i choose one of the above cams and download.
Which do you think is the easiest to use? with the best instructions.
Do you have to keep the video's saved to your comp? or once they are uploaded to youtube can you delete? to save space on comp.
And are they safe to use, last year i downloaded a programme off the net and got infested with trojan viruses even tho i have a top anti-virus software.
Plus any advice + tips would be appriciated,i dont want to rush into this but i have been asked to upload some vid's and thinking about it it may be fun.

It is quite easy. I downloaded one of the hypercams and you open it up. When you start it up, you press F2 to start recording and if you want to record a certain spot just click "Select Region". Then you press F2 again I think to end it. Then it is autmostically saved. I put it in WMV and then upload it to youtube. Ver easy  |

I downloaded Hypercam from the link above,and i had no problem at all with it.
The videos you record of your gameplay can be deleted from your pc + youtube if you wish.
Also there is a rough guide for how to use Hypercam above the link for it.

| I recommend Hypercam too, But this is preference, I prefer Screen Video Recorder Gold Edition or Super Screen Recorder because the three are very similars and very goods, But the only difference is that Hypercam can´t hide in second plane and appears in each video the word "Hypercam", but this is cuestion of preference. |
