ArcadeBoss likes to reward members for making contributive, intellectual and sensible posts to the discussions it hosts.
Posts made to thread games and quizes are just for fun and so do not in general improve the fine quality of overall discussion in these forums.
They are also an easy short cut for people to increase their post count and to unfairly increase their chances of winning Poster Of The Month prizes.
Therefore posts made to this particular forum will not count in the Poster Of The Month competition.

| i dont remember seeing a thread about it in november like it has been said, and although i post all the time in a-z bands, tv shows etc. i completely agree that it shouldnt count towards poster of the month...it will be interesting to see what crazy stuff people come up with to write about to compensate all those lost post counts |

| There ought to be better ways to assign credits to posts. For example, a post that points out a flaw in a game seems more useful than a casual talk about things external to this site, and should deserve more credits. However, such criteria may be hard to implement. |

That is a good idea, however I can foresee that posts similar to the above individuals who posted for credit would become worse. People have trouble finding a way to make intelligent posts on general ideas. Asking them for more information regarding and issue, bug, score problem or otherwise would become time consuming as they would want to draw the problem out so they could maximize their credits. By having a universal credit amount it makes it easier to deal with issues.
I do like the idea and I'm known to be wrong from time to time.  If this could be implemented it would be interesting to see how it played out.

The only problem with your post KillerCarsS is that you only used 1 word so it's hard for any person to know exactly what you mean when you only have 1 word in your post. I'm sure that is why ICBM didn't know what you mean't. I wouldn't know either.
