Crazy idea here I know its a long shot , but I'm curious...
Would it be possible for AB to have player v/s player games?
Like card games Gin, Spades, Euchre etc.. Board games... Even stuff like pool, bowling etc... The prizes could be numerous things like credits, medals, or just simple ranking. I love PvP competition lol, so I had to ask  |

| i dont think that would be possible for AB to have it set up like that with out a major upgrade on their end. Besides if AB was to do that they may want to charge a month to month fee for server cost and I don't think they would want to loose their users now. |

| I dont mean have AB hosting the games being played, just have some sort of redgister and report win / loss system. Maybe use free sites like Yahoo Games or Game Desire and other free game hosting sites that other tournament leagues use. All AB would need is a win/loss reporting system, and maybe TD's = Tournament directors to ensure noone reports wrong. By the lack of responses I assume its not gonna happen though lol O' well AB rocks without it !! |

I never said POGO.. If I wanted POGO I'd be there... I just thought maybe it'd be cool to have some PVP action, just throwin some ideas around sheesh. |

Glad you mentioned this.
I've been thinking about a couple of kinds of multiplayer games. If you have any interest in either of these please post to show your support...
1. LOCAL 2 PLAYER GAMES - Flash games that allow 2 people to complete head-to-head from the same computer at the same time. For example, I've seen a decent Street Fighter game that is 2 player. One person uses the left side of the keyboard and one uses the right side.
2. DISTRIBUTED MULTIPLAYER GAMES - Flash or Javascript based games that allow many users to compete or player together. For example, there is a multiplayer Pictionary-type game that could be added here, which would allow Arcade Boss players and players from other sites as well to play at the same time. The downside with the system that I was looking into for this is that Arcade Boss players would probably have to play as Guests unless they left Arcade Boss site to play on the master site, and I'm not really wanting a system that encourages people to leave the Arcade Boss site.
I'm always looking for new options for the site, so please give your feedback on these two options. |

Another revive by the infamous moneymaker lol...this topic has already been discussed and a decision has been made of adding multiplayer games for a single computer to play on....I think old topics should be closed after a certain time lol |
