I have started a new hobby which is djing and scratching and never realised how hard it is! I would love to be as good as Dj Qbert one day but think Im setting my sites too high! That guy is amazing! Whose your favourite dj and has anyone else ever tried to master the art.
Im going to see Grandmaster Flash in October and I can't wait, he's my hero!
When it comes to describing a Dj one need to categorize it scratch DJ or mainstream dj theirs a difference.
mixmaster mike
he drops a F bomb or 2 after the Metallica cut if its offensive please let me know and I will reedit it. i added it cause you dont see many mixing to metal its always been hip hop.
mixmaster mike would be the top of my list q bert does have a different style who is also great and let not forget dj kentaro out of Japan who speaks little english who is nothing I ever seen.
instead of setting your goals to be better then someone just set your own goals to be good all by your self. do so you'll end up being discouraged by setting them to hi. these are Dj whos been around since the early 80's.
i tried this as a kid back then we didnt have anyone to look up to like to day.
me being in trouble all the time and not sticking to it i lost interest.
if im ever at a friends or family's house and theirs a set up ill play around
for old time sake. _________________ Great Canada - US Host

I like DJ Felli Fell. The Dj for "Buck in hear" and "We takin over" by Akon, Ludacris and the rest of their collabo friends. He's done a lot of other stuff but these two I really like.
