Hmm...
I like The Simpsons because of their parodies (The Debarted episode). I like Family Guy because you know the jokes won't be restrained to that episode's plot.

i like the simpsons but family guy is just to funny i mean the simpsons is a better show in general but family guy is much much more funny

if you watched both shows all the time you would realize family guy is funnier. It provides many more laughs at random topics, times, and random situations.
While the Simpsons is just.... well not that funny anymore

I have to agree with Homelessthinker48. The Simpson's was hilarious up until about 3 years ago. Now I find it preachy and it seems "forced". The family is in unfamiliar territory and the writers don't seem certain how to have them respond. I think the series should just end.

I like to watch the older simpsons episodes, i find them funier, i would rather watch The Simpsons. but i do highly enjoy family guy....
