Various forms of media are influential on us all, including cartoons. I wouldn't say that article is total rubbish, I'd believe there is some element of truth in what it is saying.
Take Family Guy, how many 6 year olds understand that? There was another one where guys used to drink beer a lot, can't remember its name, but that was aimed at adults.
Cartoons have their own voice, sometimes quite intellectual, and so I wouldn't be suprised if they have been an adult medium on many occasions.
But then again I hardly ever watch... except maybe Family Guy sometimes.

The guys drinking beer alot sounds like King of the hill. I dont know any shows the fit that description.

I saw a new anime recently cant remember what it was called but, anyways Fullmetal Panic is a pretty good anime definitly watchable  |
