They are trying to make a profit....they won't give away money unless they are making money.

Thats so true. AB may be free for us to play around on but its the banner ads and googles adsense on here that helps pay the bills. Not to mention AB has other projects / sites that we dont know about that keep his pockets fat.

Yeh, I agree. But that's 'cos they don't have the shnaz, dude. 
For example, AB is the only site that offers medals, trophies, real cash prizes and basically all round memberhood to the boss. Dig. Dug. Chewed.
