Face Book! pretty much dominants the traffic game because of stuff like that.
besides it's not just speaking to or finding your long lost friends. its also a tool which a lot of webmasters use which can benefit a lot of $$$ if used correctly.

When you don't wish to hear the gibberish from any friend (or application for that purpose), you can choose to hide all updates from him once for all by simply clicking the "Hide" button. After a few iterates, your News Feed page will be much cleaner.
On the plus side, the ability to assimilate useful information quickly is a great asset. Think of RayWJ (http://www.youtube.com/user/RayWilliamJohnson), one of the YouTube celebrities. He needs to go through (well beyond) many thousands of user comments, emails and video responses each week. How did he do it so well? |

This is why we like ArcadeBoss!
A few months ago I got the koobface virus by clicking a viral link from one of my friends on Facebook. Then this virus posted numerous links on my friends' walls, so I had to make a public apology. That was really embarrassing. |
