There are a lot of people here who are adults. I'm interested to know what kind of work you all do for a living. If you're a kid with a summer job let us know what it is.

I'm unemployed and have been for quite a while. In my past I had been a restaurant manager for different places. It's a job I enjoy as I had always been able to get along quite well with the people I worked with. I miss the job from time to time, but with my decision to follow a dream I'm quite excited for the future!

At the moment I am working part time from home in web administration.

Usually I would also be working as a lounge pianist, which pays quite well, but there is no such work around here any more. I get more work doing that in Italy or France.

But I have skills in TEFL, tour guiding and other things.

I am currently looking to get a career as a sign language interpreter, but there are various options available.

So I'm taking a meander at the moment to find a new direction.

@everyone,

Thanks for your feedback! It's great to see what you all do.

@neeraffa,

What's a FLT?

@Lonny,

What's a tube site?

@KnightSquared,

I did a bit of bartending at restaurant many years ago. They had a piano player on the weekends who was simply amazing! That must be nice work.

Got ya! I thought it was a site that was meant to funnel traffic. The "tube" reference got me.

I work at a port facility and transport/service import vehicles...i.e. VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche and more recently Aston Martin. It is pretty sweet to drive all these 'luxury' cars but then reality sets in when I drive home in my '94 Chev S10 Sad

Depending on what kind of S10 that truck kick ass. My dad has a 95-96 S10 with the 4.3 litter vortec and let me tell you its a little gas saving beast of a truck.

Out of that list I would like a Mercedes 65 amg Gas is 11-17 miles to the gallon but it will blow the doors of anything american.

Audi A7 I'll take that too.

and the aston martin v8 vantage.

If you can ship me one of those you would make me one happy camper..

That made laugh! Sounds like a sweet job!

@neeraffa,

Thanks! I've never driven one. Looks complicated and I know I lack the dexterity to drive one.

I as well am unemployed have been since 2005 because of disability. but i have found out if you attach your computer to a big enough screen having double vision is not as bad as it is when riding in car with my wife when she is driving. nothing like seeing 2 semi trucks getting ready to ram you instead of just one.

before i became disable i was a forklift operator and a range master ( small arms instructor ) in the navy. now the only thing i can shoot is is my mouth off. Very Happy

I do love my little S10 but the salt air and winter road salt that comes with living on the East Coast of Canada wreaks havoc on any vehicle especially one that is 17 years old. The frame and body are both starting to go.

Lonny just for you a 1/64 scale diecast replica of an A7, a V12 Vantage (Upgraded for free!) and an E65 AMG have been FedExed right to your door....Enjoy!

P.S. you should do a little better than 11-17 mpg in this little baby! Very Happy
