Yes, you can suggest smilies. But they must be of a similar facial shape, if you follow me. For example the roundish ones not the longish ones.
Also there is a maximum file size of 7kb per smilie.
Why take so long? We didn't really see the immediate priority, but now we think the forums could use a more uplifting element to bring them back to life.

thanks for the clarification on that.
the reason why i asked why did it take so long is because since i been a member i don't think we had any added to the site.
i will be on the lookout for some that fall under the open source/GPL terms that way AB wont face any broken rules or served with DMCA

The two green guys are larger than 7kb, but the others were added.
I will wait until September before adding the UK flag because there is a good likelihood that it will change.

are you telling me they are going to change the UK flag? am i understanding that correctly?
figured the the other two would be a bit over 7 kb. the colours add some bits to it.

If Scotland become independent then the blue will disappear from the Union Jack flag.

The UK flag is made up of the combined English, Scottish and Irish flags.
Wales' dragon isn't on it because Wales was already part of UK when the flag was invented.
If Scotland vote themselves independent in September, it is possible Wales, in a generation's time perhaps, might also follow suite.
