Now this may not apply to everyone on this site. But, for those who it does apply to DO NOT forget to turn your clocks back 1 hour on Sunday November 2 nd @ 2 A.M. _________________

Yup, can't believe it's already that time again. At least we get an extra hour this weekend. |

Good news is that Windows 98 and newer Windows has DST adjusted correctly for the majority of locations from what I have read about it. Smartphones, of course, run on newer software.
So simply go by whatever it says on your computer or smartphone and adjust any clocks you may still have accordingly! _________________

Bet it's a pain in the bum if one worked in a antique clock shop. _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

Heard a rumor that we might not use daylight savings anymore in the near future. Not sure if it's true or not or when it's supposed to go into effect but there are some states that don't even use it anyway. So I don't mind if we stop using it. |

A.F.A.I.K Arizona and Hawaii are the only two states in the US.
DST was suppose to add more daylight in the mornings for farmers and other stuff.
I know there are petition on line to put a end to it, However on petitions are pretty much useless as DST itself..... _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

^no prob - glad i can bring a smile to some...
could you see yourself working in a place that has 1000+ clocks.
wonder if these folks have someone to do just that, set the clocks back or forward. or would it be a joint effort of some 5 or so employees setting it.
me if i owned a clock shop i be like forget it let the customer set it when they but it. _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

DST honestly kills too many people each year due to accidents resulting from sleep deprivation to be worth any perceived benefits. It's a tradition that should have ended with the FIRST World War. _________________
