Does anyone have any suggestions on good puzzles/games/riddles/overall thinking exercises?

I'm thinking along the lines of things like Rubix cube.

I can solve the rubix cube & finish the peg game with one remaining nearly every time, hence my needing something new!

Why don't you try the bigger rubik's cubes? There are massive ones, like 10x10, 20x20 etc...

True. There are many more sizes/variances to that. I'm not sure going through with learning anything bigger than the 3x3 is anything other than redundant though.

I've been doing some lateral thinking puzzes, they're pretty fun.

Or a book of CodeWord puzzles. You'll like those. They're like crosswords only there are no clues and you have to use a kind of forensic intuition to find the words.

Cross-word puzzles are always fun to do. Fitting the right words wit each selection is alwys a great way to exercise the brain!
