|
|
I'm betting on the Chicago Bulls. He has talked about changing his number and you can't wear # 23 in Chicago. There is also a rumor (or maybe not a rumor) that he has been looking for a house in Chicago. Also, I read on a sports site that he called Derrick Rose after the Cavs were eliminated by the Celtics.
Shortly after Cleveland was eliminated by Boston in the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, LeBron James placed a call to Bulls guard Derrick Rose.
What did they talk about?
Word is, James said he likes Rose’s game, likes his team and would welcome the chance to play together.
The James phone call to Rose was mentioned by ESPN reporter Scoop Jackson and confirmed by a league source. Rose has been taking things slowly since the Bulls season ended with a first-round loss to Cleveland, but he visits the Berto Center on occasion. The source said the James-Rose conversation did not last very long.
There is also talk that Phil Jackson could return to the Bulls. If so then no doubt James will go to Chicago. I know he's gonna leave Cleveland, I can feel it!
What team do you think he will sign with? |

i think that lebron would be awesome on the bulls...the only reason he might not is that he'll be in jordans shadow forever...lebron loves the spotlight and i dont know if he could handle it
one of the newest things is that chris bosh is leaving toronto and is trying to go where lebron goes....the bulls with rose, lebron, and bosh would be crazy, possibly unbeatable
also, if lebron, bosh and dwayne wade would swallow their pride and take a cut in pay, all 3 of them could go to the knicks for 11 million a year each...whats more important, money or championships? |

Yes he would be in Jordan's shadow, I didn't think of that for some reason. He made it clear before that winning championships is more important to him than anything else. We'll see what happens. |

hes crazy if he stays...look at kevin garnett, he stayed in minnesota for so long to be loyal to his team and try to win a championship....the 1st year he came to boston, he got his championship...loyalty is highly over rated to these guys...they follow the money and the fame....if lebron wants a championship he needs to leave |

that wouldnt be bad...if wade stays, theres a good chance lebron could go there....no matter what, next year there is a very good possibility that wade and lebron will play together or bosh and lebron will play together |

he just may go to the knicks...they can offer to pay some of his salary with stock in the team...which would be a great deal for lebron...if he goes there every game sells out, merchandise goes through the roof and the value of the team will skyrocket...if he wants the money that would be his best bet |

LeBron will most likely need a great "big man" on his team to win a championship. They are usually the key to winning championships. Jordan didnt have a great big man on his team but didn't need one cause he's the greatest ever and he had Pippen and Rodman.
Look at the past champions. They all have something in common, a great big man on their team.....
2008-2009: Lakers - Pau Gasol
2007-2008: Celtics - Kevin Garnett
2006-2007: Spurs - Tim Duncan
2005-2006: Heat - Shaquille O'Neal
2004-2005: Spurs - Tim Duncan
2003-2004: Pistons - Rasheed Wallace & Ben Wallace
2002-2003: Spurs - Tim Duncan
2001-2002: Lakers - Shaquille O'Neal
2000-2001: Lakers - Shaquille O'Neal
1999-2000: Lakers - Shaquille O'Neal
1998-1999: Spurs - David Robinson & Tim Duncan
1994-1995: Rockets - Hakeem Olajuwon
1993-1994: Rockets - Hakeem Olajuwon
- Lakers won 5 in the 80's with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
- Celtics won 11 with Bill Russell
- Trailblazers won 1 with Bill Walton
Magic are always in the hunt now since they have Dwight Howard. LeBron needs a good solid big man on his team. |

thats true, but at the same time lebron is probably gonna either have bosh or wade with him wherever he goes..and just like jordan did it with pippen, lebron should be able to get it down with one of those two...especially if he goes chicago with bosh and rose...they will get it done |
