Does anyone know, If anyone has used many different browsers, what is the fastest
Internet explorer seems good to me, and I like the set-up, but at the end of the day I'd prefer the fastest.
I havent heard to many good things about Firefox, so I want to avoid that.
In the past few months I've had many issues with pages changing by themselves, but only on AB.
Also I've had issues with keys jamming in games, but it is not sticky keys.
Maybe time to change browsers
Any recommendations |

Opera and Chrome. Opera is better in my opinion since you have a turbo function which speeds up performance/loading and it has a far superior selection of page options and Menu options which are also easier to find. _________________

Thank you very much KnightSquared.
I just downloaded Google Chrome, WOW It is awesome.
Much Faster than Internet Explorer, I like the page look better, and as a bonus I now have a spell checker.
I am very impressed.
EDIT: Also, Chrome doesnt have the bar at the bottom of the page that shows the page its loading, and with IE im sure thats that reason why the pages are changing, while in a game, you look at that bar and it shows that it is looking for ArcadeBoss shoutbox, which is the page it changes to, and has given me headaches many times.
So hopefully changing to Chrome, im sure it will fix that.
Plus it improves the page quality, and has more page options.
+1 AB rep Knight, thank you again. |

Chrome by far.
I guess I have not tried Opera, but out of Safari, Fire Fox, and Explorer it seems to be the best.
More room in the browser and seems to be a bit faster. maybe it's just me |

from what i remember chrome doesn't use a status bar cause takes up viewing space.
also when you take your mouse or move off of a link or when pages finish loading, status bar will slide from view when not needed.
don't know if it still does that..
i just wish it wasnt such a huge down load.
chrome is bigger in size then IE FF and opera combined.
what is goog hiding in that browser of theirs? _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

Yes that is correct.
Chrome gives more viewing space, it's great.

I've noticed a good change in speed.
When I opened IE it took between 1 - 2 seconds to fully load a page, with chrome it's instant.
I opted to keep IE on my computer.
It has all my favourites and Hypercam on it, so when I need it I'll use it.
Highly recommend Google Chrome |

I wonder what took you so long to make the switch, IE is a pain to use, inferior to any other browser I ever tested. No wonder it is losing it's grip in Internet browsing stats...
Just check how this page (CSS3 demo) appears in IE. Microsoft is still stubbornly refusing to apply standards shared by all other browsers. |

The hardest thing for me to do is getting something to look the same in IE, Firefox, Safari and Opera.
Info: | curl -s http://twitter.com/users/show.xml?screen_name=username | sed -n 's/\<followers_count\>//p' | sed 's/<[^>]*>//g;/</N;//b' |
That code show number of twitter followers
Easy code for me to understand how bout you?
IE plain and simple is super stubborn for those who are designer. _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

Hey White Wolf I have to agree that google chrome is the fastest. I use firefox, but there's a site called download.com. I use 2 programs to enhance my speed. One is Advanced System Care and you can boost up by shutting down programs that are using alot of ram. Also Iobit Game Booster is great and really enhances speed. It shuts down the programs for you that aren't needed. Good luck on chrome m8. |

you can also use ctrl - alt - delete right click and end process from there.
or when you down load anything don't have it load during start up problem solved. _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

Yes that's true also. I like advanced system care not only because it boosts up my PC, but it also cleans any registry errors, gets rid of spyware, and defrags also. These are all things that help speed up PC's. The site download.com is by cnet. I recently got a new CPU with windows 7, so firefox is running fine for me right now. I'm sure I will be using chrome in the future as I did with my last CPU, since firefox became so slowwwwwwwwwwww. Happy gaming- back to Pop Pirates lol. |

Google chrome is by far the fastest IMO. Opera is my second choice. But chrome works best for me. Third FF and IE fourth. |
