Shaq is the newest Boston Celtic....and whats even better is he signed for the veteran minimum...we now have an abundance of big men
Will Shaq have any impact? Does he still have anything left to give? |

I've never liked basketball and have never followed it, but I thought he was retired? Or am I getting him mixed up with someone else?

Boston Celtic? Really I been out of the ESPN loop for a while.
So this is news to me and what happened to him being with Miami?
Boston, I still don't believe it. This has to be the early Aprils Fools joke.
Or the worst deal in Bostons franchise history.
I mean who would want a 40 year old out of wind after 5 minutes of game play injury prone mongoloid fool like him.
To me he should stick to doing movies like Kazaam and commercials that suits him just fine.

Wow Lonny ease up a bit on the big man. 
He's 38 years old and I know he can't be a good starting center anymore but he can still be a great bench center and his experience can help.....oh wait nevermind, the Celtics players already have experience.
Well anyway he's still good for a solid bench player but yeah he seems to get injured a lot these days and I knew he wouldn't be able to help the Cavaliers win a championship.
See the main thing that still makes Shaq a good bench center is his size. He still gets double teamed because of his huge size. His pressence in the paint can be enough to make some sort of difference.

| i think shaq is in the perfect position for him self....he camme here because in his words, it was the best chance he had to win another ring before he retires in 2 years...we got him cheap and he will work out perfext coming off the bench, especially since Perkins is going to be out till december/january...he is a big body, and i think it will work out to put him in the lane just to be in peoples way |
