MegaMan Projects Tips?

I need some serious help! I love Mega Man games and saw Pimpin101 and Starman talking about this game, so I gave it a shot.

Awesome game and well set up. You can try over and over without reloading and all that boring stuff.

Anyways, here's my sorry attempt. Any tips on how to shave of a few seconds? Like, maybe one character is fastest, shortcuts, etc?

When I got into X4 I found BASS the best.
Faster than the rest, so I presume it would be the same in all of the versions.

I'll try that out, and post my results...

Also I noticed (in part one, probably the same in four) extra points given after you finish. I'm guessing it's for health. So dashing through the enemies might not yield the best results.

Yes the more health you have left the better the bonus Wink

So you have to find the right path for speed and health, some enemies hurt you more, others it's best to speed right through.
I've only gotten into the X4 version, need to play it again I was so close to gold honor medal Sad

Ahh thanks. I got the health bonus figured out now. Bass doesn't work well for this particular level since he has no X-Buster to save life and there's little use for his double jump. I can see where it comes in handy in the other levels, though.

Yes I was only talking from experience and personal preference from playing X4, and that is the Honor Medal one, set at 4k.
Never really enjoy X4 so I never got into the other versions.
Yes I found BASS by far the best for X4, double jump and speed.
There is many places you need to double jump, I think for my 3975 I had the speed but just blitzed through the enemies, lol. Advice, you need decent health to crack 4k.

A quick tip that I can give is to only use bass. It's easier to complete levels with him and it's also a lot quicker. All of my scores were earned with him.
