I mostly use Google Chrome and they don't have news stories so I didn't know about this yet so thanks for posting. The last time I saw him was on Monday Night Raw as a guest host. It sucks to see the first man on the moon pass away but hey, he lived a long life.
Rest In Peace Neil Armstrong. You sure as hell will never be forgotten. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/groups/moviesnshows/?ref=bookmarks |

Oh how sad. I was thinking only a couple of days ago if he's likely to pass soon.
Just early this morning at 3am I spotted the rings of Saturn for the first time through my binoculars. Then I came indoors, switched on the computer and read this.
You can bet there will be some full on tv documentaries on soon.
Rest in peace Mr Armstrong. _________________

I will do a very simple thing (what the Armstrong family asks all):whenever I go outside at night, I'll look at the moon and I'll wink at my American hero
Have a good trip, commander...by Moon! |

A sad year indeed, first Sally Ryde and now Neil Armstrong as well. A true legend and someone who took the phrase 'reach for the stars' quite literally.
RIP Neil Armstrong. Impossible to forget you. |

Besides a very good astronaut, he was also a very good pilot he was also flying experimental aircraft for the U.S ( for example the Bell X-1B and later on the North American X-15)
it is unfortunate that he is deceased, but on the other hand he reached an acceptable age....
Don't know if its possible for him, to look to the moon from an totally other angle, but I do hope so |
