Super Mario 64 Oculus Rift in First Person

I know this video is over a year old but it's interesting to see that the Oculus Rift has been around for years and how a game like Super Mario 64 looks in the Oculus Rift.

Haha, cool new perspective for a Mario game!

But I think part of the charm of playing Mario is to actually see Mario himself. If you play in first-person mode like in the Oculus Rift vid, you lose the identity. Maybe. I'd have to try to see for myself.
