the guy who played the joker...u mean the late, great heath ledger who won an oscar for his performance in that movie, cmon man |

I was just thinking that maybe I should have added all 3 Lord of the Rings movies together like, "The Lord of the Rings trilogy". I'm not sure if I should of done that or not, some people rank the movies separately and others don't so I was a little confused. I did think Return of the King was the best one of the three movies.
I also want to thank everyone who has voted or posted on this topic. |

| I wanted to wait until 2009 was over to make sure no other movie might sneak in as worthy of consideration. As it is, I would have to say the best movie by far and away in the past decade was Mike Judge's "Idiocracy", a mockumentary from mid-decade which I found to be an eerily accurate forecast of the direction in which America has and still is headed. |

I TOTALLY agree, there are a LOT of stupid people these days. We need to somehow lower the rate of stupid people coming into this world.
