Well, the Olympics are winding down. ArcadeBoss has many members from all over the World who were represented at the Olympics this year and I want to congratulate everyone on their Country's accomplishments. Everyone should be proud of their athletes. I am one very proud Canadian today. Our athletes did an amazing job and wrote history at every turn. I look forward to sharing the experience again with you all 4 years from now!

| Forget the boring Winter Olympics......bring on the summer Olympics in two years., the sports are much more entertaining....i mean who wants to watch a bunch of grown man parade on the ice in ridiculous outfits....not me |

I prefer the Winter Olympics. I watch more of them than I do the Summer Olympics. To each their own.

| Yep, to each their own....basketball and track and field is important to the USA like hockey is to Canada....that probably is some of the difference....one thing though is the USA created many of the new winter olympic contests courtesy of the XGames phenomenon |

Team USA owns basketball and we will easily win another gold medal. You cannot beat a team with LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Kevin Durant, and Dwight Howard on the same team. Cannot be done.

Sounds like the "Dream Team" from one of the Olympics in the 80's or 90's. I don't follow basketball, or sports for that matter, so you'll have to forgive my ignorance on the subject.

| that is what the "dream team" is now ICBM but honestly it isn't near as amazing (in comparison) to the original Dream Team of 1992 which consisted of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan and others |

That's it! That's the one I was talking about! The new one isn't as good? I know the names of the players, but that's about it. They seem pretty good, but like I said I don't follow basketball so really have no basis for that assumption.

That's totally fine ICBM, I don't follow hockey so I understand where you are coming from. For the USA our sport is basketball we invented it and we have the best players in the world. I have all respect for other countries but in basketball nobody can beat us this year or any year in the near future. We have probally 5 or 7 of the greatest players in the world on our team.
LeBron James and Kobe Bryant alone make a deadly team. Kobe once scored 81 points in one game........LeBron averages about 30 points, 10 assists, around 10 rebounds and 2 or 3 blocks per game. He is the next Michael Jordan. Try stopping our team anyone!!! It will not happen.

| Dont get too cocky there Destroyer, that is how the USA men's team didn't win the gold 2 olympics ago....of course Coach K (from Duke let me remind you) wouldn't let that happen though now, glad he is the coach for the next one as well. Many other countries have formitable (sp) teams now so the competition is much harder now. If you need any proof of this, just see how many players from other countries are in each NBA draft for the past few years. |
