Perhaps the greatest performer in WWE history has walked away from wrestling. Shawn Michaels gave his farewell speech tonight and it was really emotional to watch. After so many years of watching him every week, it's gonna be tough not seeing him every Monday night anymore.
I don't know if he will ever come back but from the looks of it, I think he is done for good. From what I read, he retired because he wants to spend more time with his family and he has been having knee problems from what I read and most people know about his back injury that he suffered a long time ago. I still can't believe this actually happened, it hasn't quite set in yet.
Thanks for the memories HBK....

Wow, that's a lot of accomplishments and awards! I'm not really big into the WWE but I'm aware he was in the business for 25 years. He'll probably be a shoo-in for the WWE Hall of Fame in the future, and based on what I've seen and heard from Wrestlemania 26, he'll probably pick up another Match of the Year award for his last match with the Undertaker.
He will obviously go down as an All-Time great, along side the likes of Hulk Hogan,The Undertaker,Brett Hart,Stone Cold! _________________ 26 Time Boss of the Month
shawn michaels was the man...i used to love to watch the rockers when i was little, him and marty jannety...and then he became HBK....he did a lot for the sport and will go down as one of the greats
For those of you that didn't see his farewell speech, I found it on youtube with better quality so I replaced the other 2 videos that i had on here before.
Here's the first part....
Then the rest.....
And for those of you who didn't know about his last match, this is how it came to life....

you got to keep in mind that shawn michaels has been wrestling for soo long
and he is a great wrestler... owning people 5X his size. he put up a great fight with the undertaker. chokeslams...piledrivers... kickin out for a while...
the WWE world will miss shawn michaels.
but that guy is very aged from wrestling...=(
hes been thru a lot
hes 3-5 months younger than the undertaker, but hes never been a big guy like triple h or cena
but sure he did kick some ass =) _________________ ♫ "Gimme life, for the takin' Gimme love, 'til I'm shakin' Gimme rules, just for breakin'

every has to retire. those wwe 'superstars' get beat 7 days a week. they toss themselves around, jump off ropes. imagine, doing that for over as long as shawn has. of course ur gonna have to retire, or it could cause permanent damage to ur body. we've seen too many wwe people get serious injuries.

I'm sure Shawn will show up once in a while like Steve Austin does and maybe have a few more DX moments with Triple H. I wouldn't really be shocked if he wrestled again, I just can't see him never wrestling again at his age.
As for John Cena, I don't really care for him. I guess I'm tired of him always being the champ or if he's not the champ, he's the # 1 contender. I don't hate him I just get a bit tired of it always seeing him and hearing about him.
