The ICBM account was mine when I was moderating. It's a thankless job and after nearly 4.5 years I had enough. neeraffa was a moderator too for about 2 years. He left for the same reasons I did. Recently we both had toyed with the idea of going back to help out a friend of ours, but decided the headaches weren't worth it. Thanks for the nomination though.

There was a problem with this score.

Yeah, I forwarded this to AB just the other day.

45 minutes playing Lightning Pool - 587k + there was a problem with the score....
I think it's time to carry on playing when the problem has been fixed.

You got that right. I haven't played any games in a few days. Kind of pointless to try when there's a very high chance of the score submission failing. I wonder how much longer this will go on? I know taht people can get busy, but this has been going on for quite a while now. It never been this bad nor has it taken this long to get problems fixed. Maybe the site isn't as important as it once was.

Neeraffa, did you start any other games after you started the mario bounce game? If so, then that is the problem, the system doesn't guarantee to track multiple game sessions.
The error Nick.P posted shows an example, the system is confused about which game he is playing. Nick were you running these games at the same time?

I've played several games and haven't seen any problems yet. If there is a way that you can reproduce this every time then please let me know the steps. I will check some more.... |

There is a problem with Vector TD 2, score cannot be submitted at all. It is super clear because there is no highscore this month for that game.
I have also had a problem when system assumes that I have started 2 games when I haven't but it happened two times this month, it is not that easy to reproduce. |

I havn't played Mario Bounce or had any other game open whilst playing another since I had trouble last time.
The score problems i have been having are random - the game i have had this problem with most is Candy Blocks - i have beat the monthly score here 3 or 4 times and had a score problem every time.

No problem - one thing i also noticed is the score problems i've had have all been 'non-mochi' - i don't recall having a problem with any mochi games (if that helps..?)
EDIT= just played around 10 non mochi games and all submitted a score fine then i did exactly the same procedure as i had done with them all with Thing Thing 2 but got this message when i tried to submit my score....
There was a problem with this score. ibp (thingthing2v32MICRO,swordssagaDR)
(the names of 2 games seem to be in the error yet i was only playing 1 game + only had 1 browser open...?)
