I know not everyone likes the results of reality TV shows but this is taking hatred to an all new level if someone like Steven Cowan is willing to shoot his own television set!

Yes, I can understand if people believe it was all an act. The problem is that if it was staged, then how does one explain the 15-hour standoff with police?

If the cops hear some guy shot his tv over a tv show....Would you want to go in there and take him into custody? Even if the guy did it for attention, no cop is going to risk his life to simply bring someone in faster
im with you garyoak...i dont think this was staged at all...i just think this guy really thought brandi was better than sarah palins daughter...people take stuff like this way tooo serious...im willing to bet there are similar stories that may have never been put into national news about american idol, americas got talent...all those shows...people get more hooked on these shows than drugs....its ridiculous...and then to have a 15-hour standoff with the cops...the guy should be on a 72-hour hold while they test him emotionally...anyone who is that obsessed with dwts has a screw or two loose
