Whom would you choose for the next moderator?

I just want to see the results of this poll. I selected these candidates just from the Posters of the Month list.

If you could choose from these members, whom would you choose for the next moderator?

Well first of all I think a moderator should be a certain age and not too young for obvious reasons. They should be old enough to clearly understand the rules and know how to deal with spammers and troublemakers the right way.

I most likely can't be moderator again and I really don't want to. I wouldn't mind but I am just too busy with other stuff and I probally can't trust myself anyway. Rolling Eyes

Don't know if neeraffa or Starman would want to be moderator again. If not then that narrows it down to bedem15, Miss Priss, and kiwifootsouljahz. Well thats how I see it, who has the best chances. It's too bad Ernie left.

5 people on that list are ex-moderators. 3 have left the team and gone back at least twice due to different issues. 1 person on the list absolutely can't be trusted. Out of the remaining names I think the only one deserving to be part of the staff is bedem15. That's who got my vote. Nick.P. may be a regular forum rat here, but he's not old enough or mature enough yet to have this responsibility. kiwifootsouljhaz just isn't active enough in the forum to be part of the team yet. He's only recently come back to the forum. The team needs stability right now. Only one moderator ATM is carrying the weight and I know how hard that is on a person. Frankly, I think the team needs at least 2 more mods. If LalinGouki is willing to take on Nick.P. as an interim moderator to test him to see if he could do the job I'd recommend him as the second person.

There just isn't enough rat forums here that qualify to have enough moderators it seems.

I vote joe.boxer but its all up to him if he wants to. He is a great forum member. He has been a mod and a really good one, possible the best ever here on ab. I think he can take the responsibility on.

Thanks for the vote Nick.P., but I have no interest in moderating here again. Been there and done that. I'd rather just be a forum rat and enjoy my existence that way.

There's already a moderator like that. I don't think Lalin wants another. He needs people willing to take on responsibility. People who come and go like the wind are no help.
