Here in the Netherlands its about the same...

During the day only programs with cooking ( live )
and programs where a team is chancing your house in 1 hour
after that only programs with people with all kind of problems
like shows with Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz.

In the evening you can watch all kind of soaps
( in the Netherlands is "goede tijden, slechte tijden"...,
translation is "good times, bad times" ...incredibly popular by all women)
but also Desperate Housewives we can watch here.... Sad

My wife is watching almost all of these programs, but fortunately she also loves watching all kind of sport-events like Tour de France, Football EK2012, Wimbledon, Olympic Games etc etc

Our TV-provider is called UPC
this provider give us about 110 TV-Channels and the same amount radio-channels.
The only channels I watch once in a while is Sport-1
History-channel, Discovery-Channel or Animal-Planet.

for the rest I'm playing here or do other things on my laptop Laughing

Awww, Carry On Camping fills me with nostalgia. I think that is the one where Barbara Windsor loses her bikini top, and runs around giggling.

My two favourite Carry On films are Carry On Screaming, and Carry On Up The Khyber. The dinner scene during the assault in ' Up The Khyber', (the part where they all try to keep the 'Stiff Upper Lip' while the building collapses around them) is hilarious! Very Happy

I think Bruce Springsteen wrote a song called '57 channels and nothing on' back in the early 90's. With the 'advancement' in television broadcasting since that time I think it is time for a remake of this song. Maybe something like 400 channels and not a bloody thing to watch but re-runs of Coronation Street! Sad

I gave up on TV. The only "TV" I actually watch is on my computer, because there is never anything entertaining on TV anymore..

I gave up on TV and radio. I watch the great cartoons like American Dad and South Park. The only radio station I listen to is the classic rock station. I completely gave up on all the new crap.

I don't watch T.V much, but when I do I just watch South Park or Two and a half men. I mostly don't watch T.v that much because my sisters are always watching (I have three sisters) and never left me watch.

Although I'm more of an Online guy so I can just browse youtube and watch stuff there so it's all good. Cool

Todays T.V. pretty much stinks. Fake reality shows History channel The Learning channel heck even The weather channel which was bought out by NBC I think airs lame shows. I mean come on Im looking for the weather on the T.V. not coastguard rescue crap.

I do miss the science channel not to be confused with the SYFY channel which suck now as well, the science channel does air allot of repeats throughout the day. Hey I like hows it's made and what the ancient knew. I have basic cable and that had went up on me cause of the year contract.

At least I have my Hulu plus account I can use ever now and again to bet the boredom.

Agreed, all they show is crap, 50 million Reality TV shows that clog up every channel. How many reality shows can they possibly make it's ridiculous. Though I do like Pawn Stars Very Happy

Chumlee is a hoot on Pawn Stars.
I think he's underrated he does bring some comedy to the show even if it's scripted.

He seems to speak what he thinks and thats what makes chumle well Chumlee.

Yea I saw the video like a week ago on youtube, the guy got KO'ed and kicked 2-3 times by Chum's friends, the guy claimed he had a gun, I would of kicked him too.
