I may be late in reporting this but Man of Steel has earned over $200 million worldwide in its opening weekend! It earned $128.7 million domestically and $73.3 million outside of North America for a worldwide total of $202.1 million!
This is good because that means that not only will it earn back its big $225 million budget but it is also expected to break the franchise record of $391 million held by Superman Returns.

havent seen it yet. will wait till it hits netflix. what i can say is theree will be a trilogy like every other movie and holly wood will kill it for most folks, except for those die hard fans.
for those that do go, i believe the film is 140 minutes long. so expect to sit 2 hours thats not including previews.

You mean they no longer have an intermission, with usherettes walking down the aisles selling choc-ices and popcorn? Dayum, it's a long time since I visited a cinema!  |

I miss those days when theaters started with a cartoon and the "Let's All Go To The Lobby" song.
I will watch this super man when it hits the stream. All if comments I read today says the ending was lousy and over kill on some of the action plots.

That's a good point and is generally why I hate going to the cinema. I like to stretch my legs half way through.
I'll wait until it hits DVD.
