Australian PM 'confident' signals are from 'black box'

A bit of good news on the search for Malaysian Airlines Flight 370:

The obvious caveat is that these comments are from a politician so we can never quite trust one of them now, can we?

Time to face reality!

And reality is "They Lie To You"!

Not one text has been out to loved ones.

To me that part of the world are a bunch of incompetent derelict SOB's.
I guess that's the normal in third world countries where corruption and cover-ups are just another day in office, no matter how disastrous they may be.

It seems to me that it's hard to get the truth about anything on that side of the world.
The last crash they had in those parts was blamed on ghosts. Yea, ghost. The official reason was that the spirits were angry so they caused the accident.

Dead or alive in this case I know it's not good, I want all the family's to have closer to end the madness that all media and public officials are putting these families through.

I have no idea why he would say anything about thinking the pings were from the missing plane. He has nothing to gain if hes right but a lot of disappointment from family members if hes wrong. If he was smart he would keep his mouth shut.

let the family be.
when they find it then talk about it.

could you imagine if it was your own loved one, friends or coworkers on that plane and never hear a word from them then realizing that the ocean became his and her's grave.
that's got to be heart wrenching to think about even for me and i don't know any of them.

i would think that Australian officials would be better at handling this.

cable news isn't any better. CNN has been on this daily with theories and they haven't found the plane.

I personally think that it could take weeks (if they ever find parts of this plane), I think the black box does not work anymore ... there is too much time elapsed.... it is very bad for the families ... although you should never give up hope ,the reality is that they probably will never know what exactly happened

^ it took two years or so to find Air France’s flight data recorder which a nuclear sub had passed very close to it not knowing it was in that part of the sea.

They were able to download all data even though it sat 10,000-15,000 feet in the Atlantic.

So anything is possible.

Thanks to speculation, conspiracy theorist and media here in the US it's a circus.

Right now CNN is running a Developing Story titled "to deep? first sub search ends early.
next hour will be "is the bluefin capable" hour after that it will be something different. till 6pm pacific it will re show the same shows from the morning.
Guess thats for those folks who come home late and want to catch up on daily events.
