Are you kidding me? Confirms my suspicions about the place - never liked the "vibe"... seems a bit of a backwards place. _________________

they tried to ban meats here in the US a couple times the one i remember most was a case where Opera went after Texas and the lawsuit ended in a dismissed with prejudice.
so both sides won...
what i don't get if you don't like something or someplace go elsewhere or don't eat it. or better yet start your own fast food chain that caters to specific religious groups.
that way its a win win.
don't take away something from people because you can't eat it for certain reasons.
i'd sigh that partition to help the cause if i could for any country in favor of the people. _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

I guess they have the right to serve their customers as they see fit. Whether or not it will be good for business remains to be seen.
I notice this in the article:
Quote: |
Specifically the slaughter must be performed by a Muslim, who must invoke the name of Allah prior to killing the animal. Commonly a person will say 'Bismillah' ('In the name of God') before repeating 'Allahu akbar' ('God is the greatest') three times. |
I wonder if they do this for every single turkey they slaughter each day. That's a lot of invocation! |
