Republican front-runner Donald Trump moved to staunch scathing criticism of his national security views on Friday, executing an abrupt about-face by declaring that he would not order the U.S. military to violate international laws to fight terrorism.
After advocating the killing of terrorists' families and the benefits of waterboarding, Trump reversed course after condemnation from former cabinet members, lawmakers and intelligence and military officials, some of whom denounced him as "utterly unfitted to the office" of president.
Others suggested that the military would be within its rights to refuse to obey those orders.
But in a statement Friday, Trump said that he understands "that the United States is bound by laws and treaties" and that he would "not order our military or other officials to violate those laws and will seek their advice on such matters."

I have no mercy for those that do harm the likes like DASH does to humans. Eye for a eye is how I see it.
What the media needs to do is redefine the term "loose cannon" for Trump since he speaks without thinking most of the time.
I belive he hung himself either on purpose or he spoke without thinking.
Just look at his abortion debacle just this past week when Chris Mathews was asking for his position, I could see the gears turning in his empty head "hmmmm what is my position on this subject?"
All indications are showing that Trump is now losing ground, from latest polls.
I'm one of those late voters and I'm leaning towards John Kasich. Cruize is too far right for my taste, Clinton can not be trusted and Bernie with his Socialist "Free Everything Thinking" I can not get behind.
John Kasich is the only guy on either side who seems to have it together "From what I see" also I am tired of the preschool attitude coming from the rest.
Who is ready for the 2020/24 elections? Raise your hands.
