those who say movies like saw are scary need to look into older movies when movies where actually scary. check out movies like the original exorcist, the omen , the thing , it , poltergeist and the amityville horror. you can also check out the original japanese versions of the ring and the grudge before they were toned down for american audiences _________________ Until you can be Boss of the month 13 times str8 : SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!!! |

| yea ive seen the saw movies and while i do like them they arent scary at all.. theyre really more of gross out movies.. movies like the old psycho are real jump out of ur seat type of movies |

| almost all "scary movies" don't scare me since there is little to no reality to them-when they are that far outside reality, then there is little to actually scare me-i find most of them funny-very few exceptions, but those that do give me a thrill stick with me for a day or two |

well put....movies that are so fake like halloween, nighmare on elm street and friday the 13th, while good, are easy to just discredit and laugh off after watching. However, those at least "based" on true event have a sense of fear that is different; one that even after watching and you turn the lights up, you still are a little creeped out |

omen and original amityville....very good.....yall also need to check out the original Last House on the Left......one modern day movie that was quite out there creepy to me was House of 1000 Corpses....Rob Zombie is such a nutjob! |

| I watched some of Jaws and the scene where hes at the shipwreck and he found the tooth keeps making me jump even though i saw the movie like 500 times. |
