My best simpsons moment is when Homer tells Bart that he drinks so much beer because he is HIV positive, before going on to explain that he became so when he left home for a little while and lived with his 'man friends'. It's at it's best when Bart starts crying and Homer sit's him on his knee to try and comfort him only for Bart to run away screaming before getting run down by Marge on the driveway and lose both his legs. Then he wakes up and realises it was all a dream - classic!

The X-Files pastiche: The whole episode is great, but especially agent Scully transfixed at Homer running bare-chested on an a treadmill: "It's like a lava lamp".

the most classic of all classic simpson scenes: Bart is about to go down the hill over the gorge. Homer comes up and tells him he cant do it, but after some booing, he gets on the skateboard and goes down. When he launches, he looks like hes gonna make it but he falls short and falls down the chasm goin, "doh, dah, ow..." all the way down. He then gets lifted up and while going up, he hits his head on the gorge wall. When he goes into the ambulance, it immediatly crashes and he goes down the chasm again in the stretcher.

If u saw the simpsons movie, then near the end u should see the ambulance from this episode still there after all these years.

homer in the tron gateway he says is:

Homer: Oh, there's so much I don't know about astrophysics. I wish I'd read that book by that wheelchair guy.

Homer: Man, this place looks expensive. I feel like I'm wasting a fortune just standing here. (Takes a long pause, while clapping his hands and scratching himself.) Better make the most of it. (He belches.)
